Hi, I’m Sandy. A 40 year old amateur comic artist, with a passion for watches. I loved drawing when I was a child and could be drawing for hours. I drew nearly everything you can imagine, portraits, landscapes, comics and etc. And if I’m honest, I was quite good. Not enough to become a professional, but hey. There is a lot of space between a professional and an amateur and the amateur can make it worth your time too. And most important part for me, is having fun. That’s why I’m just an amateur, I’m not doing any commissions right now.
So right now, I’m drawing for about a year. I’m drawing on a bi-weekly schedule, for the dutch watch forum. The other weeks are comics by jurk_originals. I did a space-based story first, a few single frame comics and now I just started with Agent 6538. I wrote a whole script for a full album, but since I was afraid of making a lot of terrible drawing mistakes, I started with a “short” story first. Operation Murky Crystal will be about 8 to 10 pages. When that’s done, I think about doing two or three more short stories of the same length, just to get the characters well developed.
